17.5 lbs? Really? Is that all?

So I was looking back at my progress for the year and was startled to discover that in January 2008 I weighed 305–that was not my all time high for the year though. But if you take that number and subtract my current weight I only lost 17.5 lbs for the entire year.

I gained about 20 lbs between January and May. Then started losing through the Summer and have basically maintained that weight–within 5 or so lbs–since then.

I have seriously lacked consistency this year. It’s horrible. I could have done so much better.

2009 will be about building and maintaining consistency.

I want to see a much larger number LOST in January 2010–and no more of this yoyoing crap.


On the other hand, my husband has lost 3 lbs in the last 4 days.  Me?  I’ve lost 0.1 lbs.

Time to kick it up a notch.

  1. Men suck. My friend, Joe, and I went to WW together years ago. I would announce my piddly 1/4 pound loss and then he would announce his 6 pound loss. It was all I could do not to punch him in the head.
